1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using ind.ai (the "Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree, you must not use the Platform. We may update these Terms from time to time; continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

2. Nature of the Platform

ind.ai is an AI ecosystem discovery, directory, event, and builder showcase platform. Please note:

• Listings and project information are provided for informational purposes only.
• Inclusion on the Platform does not constitute endorsement, verification, or recommendation by ind.ai.
• ind.ai does not provide investment, legal, financial, or professional advice of any kind.
• We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any listing or third-party content.

3. User Accounts

When you create an account, you agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorised use.

4. Project Submission Terms

By submitting a project or listing to ind.ai, you represent and warrant that:

• You own or have the necessary rights to the content you submit.
• Your submission does not infringe any third-party intellectual property rights.
• Your content is not unlawful, defamatory, fraudulent, or misleading.
• You are not making false or exaggerated claims about your project.

ind.ai reserves the right to remove, edit, or reject any submission at our sole discretion, without prior notice, for any reason including but not limited to quality, relevance, or policy compliance.

5. Intellectual Property

All intellectual property in the Platform — including its design, code, branding, logos, and original content — is owned by ind.ai or its licensors. Users retain ownership of their submitted content but grant ind.ai a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display, reproduce, and distribute such content on the Platform for the purpose of operating the service.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Scrape, crawl, or use automated means to extract data from the Platform without prior written consent.
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to derive the source code of any part of the Platform.
• Impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation.
• Send spam, unsolicited communications, or promotional content through the Platform.
• Upload or transmit malware, viruses, or other harmful code.
• Engage in automated bulk data extraction or data harvesting.
• Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose.

7. AI Disclaimer

The Platform may include AI-powered features. AI-generated outputs may be inaccurate, incomplete, or misleading. You should not rely on AI outputs for professional, legal, financial, or medical advice. Use of AI features is at your own risk, and ind.ai disclaims all liability for decisions made based on AI-generated content.

8. Event Terms

ind.ai may organise or co-organise events, hackathons, and summits. By registering for or attending an event:

• You consent to the use of your likeness in photographs, videos, and other media captured at the event for promotional purposes.
• ind.ai is not liable for any travel, accommodation, or related costs incurred by attendees.
• Participation does not guarantee specific outcomes, networking opportunities, or business connections.

9. Future Paid Services

ind.ai reserves the right to introduce premium features, paid listings, sponsorship tiers, or other paid services in the future. Such services will be subject to additional terms communicated at the time of introduction.

10. Limitation of Liability

The Platform is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:

• ind.ai shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the Platform.
• Our total aggregate liability shall not exceed the fees, if any, paid by you to ind.ai in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless ind.ai, its officers, directors, employees, and affiliates from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Platform, your submissions, your violation of these Terms, or your infringement of any third-party rights.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Platform at our sole discretion, with or without cause and with or without notice, at any time. Upon termination, your right to use the Platform ceases immediately. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (including, but not limited to, intellectual property, limitation of liability, and indemnification) shall survive.

13. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India.
